GV II
Detached house and shop. Late C18; early C20 addition. Random
and coursed rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys; stone slate roof.
Two-storey with attic; T-plan with additional parallel rear range.
West side: original house to left with scattered timber casements
having timber lintels, 2 to each floor. Doorway with timber
lintel and 4-panel door to right. Two ridge-mounted chimneys with
plain caps indicate original gable ends. Addition to right
(towards road) has large upper floor timber casement with stone
lintel. South end: unequal gable with C20 shop window to ground
floor below continuous pitched hood; similar pitched hood to upper
floor canted oriel; small attic casement. East side: large C20
addition with gable-mounted chimney and C20 casements. Interior
not inspected. Included for Group Value.
