Two houses in row. Mid-late C17; extensive mid C20 restoration.
Random rubble limestone; rubble chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-
storey. Built at right-angles to road. West side: 3 half gables.
Restored concrete square-mullioned casement fenestration; C20
casements. Four ridge-mounted chimneys with plain caps. South
end: original 3-light chamfered mullioned casement to ground
floor, 2-light above. East side: restored concrete mullioned
casements. Projecting gabled wing with doorway having flat porch
hood. Interior not inspected but probably mostly C20 alteration.
Although altered, building retains important position in village
street.
