BIBURY CHURCH ROAD
11/80 William Skuce monument in the
churchyard approximately 15m south
of south aisle to Church of
Bale tomb. Dated 1724 and 1774. Limestone. Rectangular with
corner pilasters, elaborately bordered north inscription panel and
oval south panel. Open book to west end surmounted by 2 heads;
oval cartouche to east. Cyma moulded base plainly shaped top.
Bale is somewhat eroded but to fielded panel design. West end now
decayed; winged hour glass to east. Inscribed to William Skuce,
