of Macaroni Downs Farmhouse

Barn with outbuildings. Late C18; early C19 shelter shed. Random
rubble limestone; stone slate roofs. Five-bay barn with porch,
outshut and shelter sheds on east side, porch to west and lofted
outbuilding (now used as pigsty) to south. Barn has lean-to porch
on east side combined with outshut to right. Doorway with plank
door and timber lintel to outbuilding has catslide outshut to left.
South-facing shelter sheds with timber posts on high stone bases,
now with timber infill and used as pigstys. C19 carved stone
finials to gable ends of barn with owl hole in apex. Central porch
on west side with hipped roof porch, plank doors and timber lintel.
Attached outbuilding range to left. Interior: collar and tie-beam
truss roof.
