EASTLEACH EASTLEACH TURVILLE
13/189 Stables approximately 40m north west
of Troutbeck Farmhouse (previously
23.1.52 listed under Barns immediately West
and North of Troutbeck Farmhouse) j
Stables. Early-mid C17; early C19 rebuilding. Random rubble
limestone; stone slate roof. Stable doors on north and south
side; continuous lofts. Scattered segmental arched stable doors
and openings. Two eaves-mounted gabled loft doorways with plank
doors, one with projecting stone slate slab landing. Small square
vents to east gable end; 1756 clock added in late C20 with open
pedimented top; iron weather-vane. Interior not inspected.
