Coach house. Mid-late C18. Coursed rubble limestone; stone
slate roof. South-facing coach house; continuous lofts. South
side: coach doorway to left with timber lintel; gabled loft
doorway above. Two central oval arched doorways with 9-panel
doors. Two-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement to right,
relieving arch over. Attached ashlar gatepier with ball finial
matches that attached to Southrop Manor (q.v.) to south. Hipped
roof. One 2-light casement on north side. Interior not
inspected. Performs important enclosing function on main village
street.
