14/222 Two raised pavements
on both sides of street running
between Laurel Cottage and
entrance to Church of St Peter
GV II
Raised pavements. Late C18. Random rubble limestone retaining
front; asphalt top. Rough flag edging at front. Higher
pavement on south side, approximately 70m long, is terminated at
west end by stone steps. Pavement on north side is in 2 Lengths
approximately 30 and 110m long with break for vehicle access
immediately west of Wadham Cottage. Important visual effect on
main village street.
