Detached house. Mid C18; extensive C20 restoration and addition.
Random rubble limestone; rebuilt rubble chimney; stone slate
roof. Two-storey; L-plan. South front: half gable right of
centre with single-window fenestration below, both C20 casements
with concrete lintels. Central doorway with concrete lintel and
C20 glazed door; further C20 casement to left. West end: lean-
to to gable end of main range; half gable to rear wing. C20
casements to rear. Interior not inspected. Although altered
Island Cottage is included for Group Value to complete tight
grouping of buildings in The Bottom.
