Church Cottage

Detached house. Mid C17; probably enlarged in C18. Random
rubble limestone; brick rebuilt chimneys; stone slate roof.
Two-storey. South front: full gable with single-window
fenestration below, 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement
with hoodmould and relieving arch, 2-light above. Casement with
timber lintel in former doorway to left. Addition to right with
gabled porch and gabled eaves-mounted dormer. Two ridge-mounted
chimneys. Rear: outshut with catslide roof; plank garage doors
at west end with weatherboarding above. Interior not inspected.
