Former dwelling (empty at time of survey) and greengrocer. C17. Smooth rendering
wooden moulded cornice, hipped slate some pantile to back roof. One long building,
front hip runs back to ridge common to Nos 47 and 49; back wall some wattle and daub
fill to upper level. Three storeys, one windowed, sashes without glazing bars,
stepped voussoirs and projecting keys. Late C19 shop front, early plank door to
throughway, left.
Probably built as pair with 49, but gable replaced.
