Dwelling shop: early C19. Brickwork rendered, stone cornice concealing slate roof.
Small frontage, includes small radius curved return into Orchard Street, and long
return plus three bay house contained in stone framed by rusticated pilaster strip
(left) and quoins (right). Three storeys, two windows, sashes with glazing bars and
wide surrounds. Good mid C19 shop front with curved returns, fine lozenge glazing
bars rendered stall riser and original fascia with carved guilloche decoration; new
central door. (Orchard Street front wide-spaced two-window, plus three-window facade
between pilaster and quoins, this section good sashes with glazing bars under stepped
voussoirs with keystone; C19 six-panel door and traceried fanlight; moulded 'doric'
pilasters plus pediment, all in wood. Bench mark on pilaster.
