Dwelling and shop. C17 or earlier. Rough render on timber frame, stone slate roof.
Two unequal gables projecting from ridge. Three storeys, gables contain three light
casement (left) and small fixed light (right) plus sash without bars to first floor.
Broad late C19 shop front, canted bay left, then two wide panes with central recessed
glazed door.
No. 44 built at same time as No. 46 (q.v.): detail similar.
