A cottage, probably associated with the local textile trade, dating from the early C19. No.7 is one of a terrace of three similar cottages stepping down the steep hill, the other two having been altered and not of special interest. The building is of coursed, dressed limestone, with a slate roof and lateral brick stack to rear. Single depth plan, of three storeys, each with one double-hung sash with glazing bars. Entrance door to left of ground floor is of six fielded panels.
