Hotel. C18. Smooth rendered, stone slate roof. Broad frontage, off-centre doors,
former carriage-way; long return wing in brick, C19, right. Two storeys,
five-windowed, sashes with glazing bars in reveals, painted plat-band surrounds. Wide
elliptical-headed doorway with moulded responds and caps and deep roll mould to arch.
Three storey pavilion returned right, hipped roof, two windowed, sashes with glazing
bars, new window ground floor.
Second wide elliptical opening, left, is part of pastiche reconstruction in this part
of Market Street.
