Large detached dwelling. Late C17. Rendered rubble, with decorative pargetting to
quoins and window surrounds recently re-applied to match original work, deep coved
cornice in plaster, stone slate front slopes and concrete tile back slopes to roofs.
L-shaped structure in two units to facade and three gables to rear, two stone stacks,
each with doubled brick top sections set diagonally. Two storeys plus dormers, two
plus five windowed two-light with transom and one glazing bar; dormers two-light
casement. Ground floor windows beneath continuous stone drip mould. Garage doors
left; central four panel fielded door with rectangular plain glazed fanlight under
projecting hood on scroll brackets. Good oak stair including 10 ins x 6 ins square
newel; C18 panelled room bottom right, panels fielded. Heavy oak roof structure with
collar and tie but no struts. Many wide four or six panel C18 doors.
