Wortley Farmhouse


Farmhouse. C17. Squared rubble, stone slate roof. L-shaped block, with large
Cotswold gable off-centre, right. Two dressed stone stacks. Two storeys plus roof
space, three windowed, three or four-light casement, C19, iron lights with square
leaded panels; wood louvred opening in gable, to cheese loft. Porch, plain plank
Probably built in two phases, with large gate originally central. Derelict outshut,
Formerly known as Elmtree Farm, and so shown on Ordnance Maps.
