3/23 Norn House

Detached house. Mid C18. Ashlar, Cotswold stone slate roof,
raised coped gables with large stone stack at each end. Eaves have
stone brackets at approx. 1 metre intervals but they are not
supporting. L shape. 2 storeys and attic. 2 widely spaced
windows, 12-pane sashes, with similar below on ground floor and
central doorcase with flat stone hood on carved brackets and 6
panel door. Similar stone doorcase on doorway at north gable end.
Brackets continue along gable end to end of wing, above a double
height early C19 canted bay.
