Stable block at Cherington Park


GV II


Stable block in two sections with earlier section to east.
Early/mid C18. Part to east, square, rubble stone with hipped
Cotswold stone slate roof, top part roofed in corrugated iron. 2-
light stone-mullioned openings with square hoodmould on ground and
1st floor. Recessed entrance on north side. Later wing to left
also rubble stone but with quoins, Cotswold stone slate roof in
long range, hipped at east end. One hipped dormer in centre.
Moulded stone eaves. 3 mullion and transom windows on ground floor
with continous hoodmould.
