Chest tomb. Ludlow family, Mid/late C18, with additional later
bronze plaque to west, with Eleanor Ludlow, died 1804, as earliest
date. Limestone. Flat top, tall moulded plinth on double-stepped
large base, breaking up. Moulded capping with indented corners.
End panels with egg and dart frieze and remains of cartouche to
east, applied bronze plaque to west. Long sides have large
recessed retangular panels with egg and dart moulding and
indecipherable inscription to south, plain moulding and obliterated
inscription to north.
