north east of path crossing in
churchyard of Church of St. Mary


GV II


Chest tomb. Mid/late C18. Limestone. Flat top, moulded plinth
and cyma recta moulded capping. Heavy lyre ends, partially missing
to west, with centre skull motif and crossed bones to east. North
panel almost completely eroded. South panel has oval wreathed panel
with cherub heads at each side and inscription, nearly
indecipherable but name "John Wi------" is just visible.
