Pair of cottages in terrace. Mid C17. Rubble stone with 2 jettied
timber framed gables faced in roughcast, Cotswold stone slate roof
and dressed stone ridge stack to left with moulded cornice. 2
projecting front gables and rear cross range, with additional long
rear range to no 21. 2 storeys. Gables blind. 4 windows, two 4-
pane sashes to no 21, two 12-pane sashes to no 22. Jetty of no 21
is supported on 2 thin columns with wooden fascia above. Jetty of
no 22 is filled in with shop front probably of late C18. No 21 has
C20 shop front. Passage between has wide plank door on strap
hinges and at the far end of the passage a chamfered depressed
arch. Inside to the right (wall of no 21) is a small iron grille
about 200 x 25 cm in a wooden frame.
