Former toll house, now private house. Early C19. Rubble stone
with ashlar-faced front, hipped slate roof (with one small rear
section in Cotswold stone-slate), 2 stone stacks. L-shape with
polygonal corner, wing to south probably a slightly later addition.
2 storeys. 4 windows, 3 round-headed plain glass paired casements
in square wooden frames with canted oriel on front face above
original entrance with own hipped slate roof. 3 square-headed
plain glass paired casements on ground floor with doorway now far
right. Door to right of solid moulded vertical panels with gabled
timber porch and decorative barge board. Plain cornice and
blocking course on corner wing.
