5/339 Dovecote at Charlton House

Dovecote. C18. Rubble stone with Cotswold stone-slate roof.
Circular with conical roof carrying square timber lantern
containing entrance holes for birds with hipped roof and iron
weathervane, inside wall lined with rows of perches from floor to
ceiling. Roof has been renewed. No central strutted support for
access to perches. A small doorless arch on south side with
leaded window over.
