Cottage at corner of walled garden. Early C19. Ashlar with slate
roof and ashlar stacks. Central portion square at front, canted
with canted portico at rear, rectangular winds of equal length to
either side. Central portion breaks forward slightly from facade
with squat octagonal tower forming upper storey. Single storey
wings to either side. Central 6-panel door within a 4-centred
arch with plain architrave with engaged palmette at top. Single
slit lights with ogee tops to either side of door with rosettes
above. 6-light window with glazing bars above door. Single blind
windows with stepped and curved upper corners to single storey
wings either side of central body. Similar blind windows on each
face of tower. Central stack from apex of octagonal pyramidal
roof. Hipped roof to single storey wings. Band below eaves with
decorative stone brackets supporting roof above.
