TODENHAM MAIN STREET

II
Detached farmhouse. Late C17 - early C18. Coursed squared and
dressed limestone, concrete tile roof, brick stacks on ashlar
stumps, corrugated iron roof to farm buildings attached right.
Rectangular plan to main body with extension onto left and right
gable ends. Main body: 2 storeys, 3-windowed, all double-
chamfered stone-mullioned casements mostly with horizontal glazing
bars. Band below first floor windows. Central C20 plank door with
diamond shaped light. Tie plate in form of halved timber at first
floor level off centre left. Single storey lean-to left, single
storey farm store right. Gable end stacks to main body with flat
gable end coping.
