Pair of cottages. Early C19. Coursed rubble stone with
alternating flush quoins, stone slate roof with stone end stacks.
Single range with rear lean-to forming cat slide roof, 2 storeys.
Four windows, 2 paired metal casements to each cottage (some leaded
on No 43) with flush quoins and timber lintels. Ground floor has
one 3-light on outer side of both cottages, central boarded doors
with flat concrete hood on wooden brackets, and 2-light on inner
side. All with timber lintels.
