1/61 Stables at poultmoor Farm

GV II

Stable block with granary and loft over. Probably 1790s or very
early C19. Random coursed rubble stone with alternating flush
quoins, stone slate roof. Single long range with 2 gables to east,
each with loft door and flight of 10 stone steps parallel to
building with kennel hole under each facing into centre. Loft to
left hand side contains original granary wooden corn bins. Three
stable doors and one window between stairs (2 doors to right with
stone arches). To right of right hand stair, central door with
stone arch and flanking square windows. Timber lintels where no
stone arch. South end has original implement/cart shed twin-bay
opening on south end divided by stone pier, with square pitch hole
over.
