SP 10 SE HATHEROP -

5/65 Cartshed and granary immediately
to south-east of South Farmhouse

GV II

Cart shed and granary. Probably mid/late C18. Rubble stone with
alternating flush quoins, stone slate roof. Large central
cambered timber lintel on west side for carts, and large inserted
opening immediately to right probably in place of doorway. On
south side, flight of stone steps, 15 in all, 6 at right angles and
turning corner to parallel in south-east corner adjacent to barn
(q.v.), up to plain boarded loft door with stone surround and
timber lintel. Kennel hole, with door, below parallel flight of
steps.
