SU 19 NW KEMPSFORD DUNFIELD

7/86 Nos 3, 4 and 5

Three cottages. Late C18. Rubble stone with flush stone quoins,
hipped stone slate roof, 2 large stone ridge stacks with brick
flues. Single front range and small rear extensions, 2 storeys.
6 windows, round-headed plain stone surrounds, all with blocked
tympanum and 2-light wood casement at base. Nos and 4 have
plank door with small light and curved hood on struts ancl 1 similar
window each on ground floor. No 5 to left has filled in end
doorway to match remaining window and now has entrance oil left-hand
return in small C20 extension.
