9/133 Priory Cottage


Large cottage. Possibly late C16/early C17. Rubble stone and some
roughcast, stone slate roof, stone end stacks, external to left and
one rear stone stack. Single range, 2 storeys and attic. Scattered
fenestration, renewed 2, 3 or 4-light lattice casements with timber
lintels. Large half-glazed 6-panel door to right of centre (top 3
glazed, lower 3 flush). Two gabled dormers with twin casements.
Interior has very large chamfered beams on ground floor and oak
bressumer fireplace at left end (partially filled in).
