Apparently former large town house, now used as shop premises.
Early C18. Coursed rubble stone with dressed quoins, stone slate
roof with moulded wood eaves cornice, external stone stack to right
end and large brick ridge stack on rear wing. Single front range
and rear cross range, 2 storeys with attic in gable end. Six
windows, 12-pane sashes unevenly spaced (3 close together on left,
3 further apart on right) in very shallow reveals. Ground floor
has one former sash now plate glass window to left with timber
lintel in formerly larger opening, door with 4 bolection-moulded
panels, half-glazed, with timber lintel, and large C19 double shop
front to right (possibly in place of a carriage arch and one
matching window, or even the ground floor of a separate house).
