Detached house. Late C18/early C19. Rubble stone, concrete tile
roof, brick end stacks. Single range with blind gable end to
street, 2 storeys and attic, small lean-to at rear with curved
wall, and small additional single storey wing to south linked by
short passage. Main facade to south has 3 windows, 12-pane sashes
with timber lintels, flush stone surrounds and decorative reeded
architraves with moulded circular corner insets. Central window
painted blind to match flanking 2, except for 2 real panes. Two
similar windows on ground floor, central doorcase with arched flush
stone surround, shallow radial fanlight and 6-panel door with 3
pairs of differently shaped fielded panels, a typical Lechlade
feature and possibly by Richard Pace. Internal shutters remain in
some rooms. Small flat-roofed central dormer with paired wooden
casements.
