Pair of cottages. Early C19. Coursed rubble stone, stone slate
roof, central brick ridge stack. Single range with rear catslide
outshut, single storey and attic. Two windows, 2-light wood
casements, and 2 gabled dormers with similar smaller windows. Each
cottage has half-glazed door on outside and gabled porch hoods on
brackets, No 2 having scalloped bargeboards, and 2-light wood
casements on inside. This pair of cottages is reputed to
incorporate fabric of a property of 1585 mentioned in the deeds.
