GV II

Large detached town house. Early C18. Rubble stone, limewashed,
hipped stone slate roof with overhanging eaves, 3 large stepped
external stone stacks each with paired diagonally set ashlar flues
with moulded cornices. Square range with small coursed rubble and
brick wing to right, 2 storeys. Five windows, 12-pane sashes in
moulded stone architraves, 4 similar on ground floor with
continuous dripmould. Central large stone doorcase with double
doors, each with 2 large recessed panels, in wide moulded stone
architrave. Large segmental moulded pediment over with small plain
oval light in tympanum. Internal shutters remain in ground floor
front rooms.
