Large detached cottage.Small roadside range of late C17 enlarged to rear in two stages,probably early C18 and late C20.Coursed rubble stone with alternating flush quoins,stone slate roof,stone end stacks.L-shape range of varying heights,mainly two storeys.Roadside frontage has one coped gable to right with kneelers at different heights and remains of finial.Blocked single light with straight dripmould at top of gable,two-light stone mullion with square hoodmound on first floor and three-light on ground floor.Two-light to mullion to left on first floor,three-light with square hoodmould below and single light in centre with straight dripmould.Rear has original blocked doorway with quoins,and mostly two-light casements with timber lintels.Middle range facing into angle has all two-light stone mullions with square hoodmoulds and small gabled dormer C20 wing has two-light stone mullions without hoodmoulds.
