2/55 Bridge over lake in grounds in
Brockhampton Park
GV II

Bridge over lake. Late C19. Limestone piers supporting timber
framework. Nine stone steps leading up to bridge each side,
flanked by curving walls each rising up to a pair of circular stone
piers with a moulded capping, large ball finials supported on
brackets on cappings. Three carved lions' heads below cappings
with foliate and ribbon decoration in addition. Two further pairs
of matching piers across span of bridge.
