2/59 The Coach House and house
adjoining, Brockhampton Mews
GV II

Former coach house now converted into two houses. Late C18-C19.
Coursed squared and finely dressed limestone, coursed limestone
rubble, artificial stone slate roof. Limestone rubble stack. 'L'-
shaped plan. Coach house; 1½ storeys, house adjoining on right 2
storeys. The Coach House; small gable lit by single light towards
apex, C20 two-light casement below. Three double width segmental-
headed openings to ground floor. Blocked door far right with 2-
light casement with glazing bars inserted in blocking. Small
single storey outbuilding attached via wall left of The Coach
House, lit by 2-light stone-mullioned casement. C20, one and 2-
light casements to house adjoining. C20 part-glazed door in gable
end. Flat and saddleback gable end coping to both parts. Roll-
cross saddle and triangular kneelers to forward facing gable to The
Coach House. Pointed finials to house adjoining.
