Gates and gate piers adjacent to lodge at north entrance to
Sandywell Park (q.v.). C18. Ashlar piers, wrought and cast-iron
gates. Square piers with moulded cappings and large gadrooned urn
finials flanking double cast-iron gates with some wrought-iron
decoration . Ornate overthrow with fine foliate wrought-ironwork
incorporating cornucopia. Gates and gate piers match those at west
and south entrances to Sandywell Park (q.v. Andoversford parish).
North gateway moved to its present position mid C20.
