Detached house. Early C20. Architect Ernest Gimson. Coursed
squared and dressed limestone, stone slate roof. Rectangular plan
with extension at east gable end. Two storeys. Twin-gabled, 3-
windowed garden front; 3 and 4-light stone-mullioned casements,
central king mullions to 4-light casements on ground floor; t
Ventilation slit towards apex of each gable. Gable dovecote above
ventilation slit in left-hand gable. Central glazed door with
glazing bars set back within 3-bay portico, 2-light wooden
casements with leaded panes either side of door. Timber uprights
divide bays of portico (now glazed at front). Triple gabled
entrance front with gabled projecting porch off-centre left.
Studded plank door with 4-pane light within flat-chamfered 'Tudor'-
arched surround at front of porch. Lateral and axial stacks with
moulded cappings and skirtings. Ball finials to gables.
Interior largely as built, original staircase with stick balusters.
