4/97 Stable block at Home Farm
GV II
Stables and cart shed with loft above. Late C18. Rubble stone,
stone slate roof. 'L'-shape block, 2 storeys. Two cart bays
in angle to south west, each with timber lintel and double doors.
Stable door to right, small single light halfway up flight of 10
steps to loft door, with single light to right. Door to right of
steps. All openings with timber lintels. Part of tightly-knit
and well preserved group with Home Farmhouse (q.v.) and barn
(q.v.).
