Large detached house. Originally mid/late C17, much enlarged in
late C20. Rubble stone, stone slate roof, central stone ridge
stack on main range with 2 gables, extended to north east to nearly
double its size, and with small extension to south-west
incorporating existing outbuilding. Single storey and attic.
Original range has 2 gables to south-east, each with renewed 2-
light plain stone or concrete mullions and large similar windows
below. Similar fenestration scattered throughout. Door under
left-hand gable, with C20 boarded door and flat stone hood. Large
stack has very large cambered timber bressumer fireplace with bread
oven to one side. Chamfered and stopped main beam in this room.
'A'-frame roof. Two original rear gables to main range, with
repeated gables in new wing. Small stone well structure adjoining
original outbuilding in front of house.
