Barn and adjoining animal shelter in south-east corner. Probably
C18. Rubble stone, stone slate roof. Barn has large nearly
central projecting gabled cart entry on south side with timber
lintel. Small lean-to to right. Lean-to to left has corrugated-
iron roof and 2 timber posts and probably formerly a 4-bay animal
shelter. Opposed flush entry. Seven bays, collar and tie beam
trusses. Animal shelter has 6 open bays with tapering stone
columns between, partial remains of wooden manger to rear, end bay
has curved-out wall with 2 slit vents and adjoins base of former
Abbey Barn (q.v.).
