Large detached cottage. Between c1909 and 1926, part of a group of
7 cottages by Ernest Barnsley. All in similar style, of coursed
and dressed stone, stone slate roof, stone stacks with offset and
moulded cornice, all single storey and attic. Fenestration
scattered mostly either 2 or 3-light cambered head casements, or 2-
light casements with timber lintel, with some small 4 or 6-pane
single lights; plank doors. No 11 has large gable to north with
lower eaves line to left. Door with flat stone hood on brackets.
