Manor Farm
GV II
Very large barn. Late C18/early C19. Coursed rubble stone with
flush quoins, stone slate roof with weathervane to south end.
Nearly central large projecting cart entry to east with timber
lintel and short double timber doors raised up on stone bases below
hinges, and doorway with timber lintel on left hand return.
Flanking lean-tos with 3-bays, each forming animal shelter with
bays divided by columns of blue bricks on stone bases. Opposed
gabled entry on west side, both with brick arches at wall plane.
Eight bays with king post trusses, and original blue brick floor
throughout. Pitch hole to south, and blocked pitch hole to north,
slit vents throughout.
