Very large barn with partition wall. Dated 1753 with initials "MW"
on quoins inside north-east cart entry, and with initials "WW" on
beam above to right. Coursed and squared dressed stone with
alternating flush quoins, stone slate roof. Two large opposed
projecting gabled cart entries on both sides with slightly cambered
timber lintels, with stone arches on inside at wall plane. Collar
and tie-beam trusses with 5 bays to east of partition wall and 7
bays to west. Scattered square vents. Doorways on east facing
returns on north side. C20 corrugated-iron lean-to between cart
entries on north side, stone lean-to with square openings and
corrugated roof between entries on south side and on east side,
projecting forward at south-east corner as partial slate-roofed
shed.
