II
Large detached house. Late C18. Squared and dressed stone with
alternating flush quoins, stone slate roof, brick end stack to
right with stone flue, stone ridge stack. Long single range of 2
storeys and attic with low rear wing to right with asbestos tile
roof. Four windows, blocked and 16-pane sash to left, blocked and
3-light casement to right, latter with stone lintel, rest in flush
stone surrounds. Ground floor has similar to left, and two
casements to right, 2 and 3-light, surrounds as first floor.
Central recessed door of 6 flush panels with round-headed raised
stone architrave and radial fanlight, with plain wall over. Two
widely spaced hipped dormers on eaves with small casements.
Scattered fenestration to rear also. Mounting block attached on
right-hand return.
