1/3 Gatepiers to Boxwell Court

II

Pair of gate piers. Mid-late C18. Limestone ashlar. Square piers
with rectangular chamfered recess in upper part of each side, those
facing road containing Rococo cartouche with Huntley coat of arms.
Moulded coped tops, formerly having ball finials. Wrought-iron
gates are later and not of special interest. Gate piers stand at
entrance to long drive leading to Boxwell Court (q.v.).
