Detached house. Mid C19, Tudor revival style. Random rubble limestone; ashlar
dressings; ashlar chimneys; Welsh slate roof. Single-roof with attic; single-storey
outshut addition at rear. Front: off-centre 3-centred arched moulded doorway
flanked by 2-light mullioned casements with 3-centred arched lights, each with hood
having bold square label stops. Two parapet attic gables each with similar
2-light. Three single-stack ridge-mounted chimneys with diagonal shafts and moulded
caps. East end: parapet gable with off-centre single-light attic casement in same
style. West end: parapet gable with C20 two-window fenestration. C20 additions to
rear in artificial stone. Plays important visual role at junction between 2 streets.
Groups with Royal Oak (q.v) at opposite corner of junction.
