Large farmhouse. Late C17/early C18. Rubble stone with flush quoins, stone slate roof, stone stacks, to left end and large ridge stacks to main range and wing to left. Main range of 2 storeys and attic with rear catslide and cross range to right, with long wing to left of single storey and attic with rear extension. South front has gable end of cross range to right, blind except for small stone light with square hoodmould on ground floor, and similar blocked opening to apex of gable. Main section has 3 and 2-light stone mullions to first floor, one gabled dormer, and large 3-light stone mullion to left on ground floor with nearly central square-headed stone porch with chamfered shallow Tudor-arch. Wing to left has one 4-light stone mullion and 2 single lights, and doorway to far left all with square hoodmould. Two large inserted flat roofed C20 dormers. Right hand return has two 2-light stone mullion and transoms with leaded lights to each floor, and rear gable end of cross range has 2-light stone mullion to each floor with dripmould to ground floor only. At base of catslide are two 2-light stone mullions with arched lights and dripmould, probably of C19.
