Formerly three cottages, now one large cottage and one small.
Mainly built in C17 in 2 different sections and with part of No 41
being of late C19 or early C20. Rubble stone, coursed in later
part of No 41, stone slate roof, large stone ridge stack to cross
range at north end, brick stacks to rest. 'T'-shape range, cross
range of single storey and attic, stem of 2 storeys, with attic in
C17 section. North end has 2 small gables and central gabled
dormer. Small UPVC 2-light windows to each gable and larger
similar below, all with timber lintels. Centre has small stone
framed newel light with square hoodmould between floors, and small
recessed square light nearly at attic level. East gable end of
this range has 2-light stone mullion with square hoodmould on first
floor and 2-light UPVC casement with timber lintel. Two-light
stone mullions with square hoodmould survive to east side on first
floor, to west side on ground floor of stone gables and on first
floor of No 41. Rest of fenestration mainly wood casements with
timber lintels. Large projecting gabled porch to east, smaller to
west, on Stone Gables.
